Making the decision to include the Boone and Crockett Club Foundation in our will was an easy one for Cindy and me. We strongly believe in the Club's multi-tiered mission of North American conservation leadership, the support of science based conservation education and fair chase hunting, all while maintaining and upgrading the most respected record book scoring system in the world. Meeting this mission in the future will be much more challenging than it is today. As society becomes increasingly urbanized, the public relates to our natural world far less than did our founders.

Today, much of the public is confounded as to the difference between true conservation works vs. the litigated intent of those who shroud their true motives under the very guise of it. Our Club has always had a duty in such matters: to enlighten, while clarifying our role as conservationist and standard bearer of our fair chase hunting heritage.

If the Club is to remain relevant, for our children and grandchildren, it will require more resources than we could ever imagine today. Leaving a portion of your will to the Boone and Crockett Club Foundation is a positive way each member can ensure the Boone and Crockett Club will always have the ability to fulfill its powerful mission. I think it is one of the greatest legacies one could leave.

Please join me in the Roughriders Society, so together we can ensure the Boone and Crockett Club will have the ability to fulfill its vital mission far into the future.
